Most teething treats are starchy and out of bounds for us. Lots of yogurt drop baby finger foods have added sugar or are made with sucrose containing fruits and veggies, so again-out if bounds. But I wanted to make some yummy teething treats for Mr. Baby, and decided to try making frozen yogurt drops. He loves them.
First, pack your blender jar. I usually use frozen fruit, but this morning we were out so I used crushed ice. If you don't want crushed ice all over your kitchen floor, grab a jar filling funnel. (These things are great, and since I use ball jars for all kinds of storage, beyond canning, it gets used a lot.)
After the ice, comes fruit, then yogurt, then spinach or kale, and finally juice or milk. We mostly use milk.
Once it is blended, pour into tiny ice tray molds, and spread with the back of a spoon until level. Freeze. (Taking crappy pictures is optional.)
Once frozen, pop out the cubes and store in a freezer bag.
Enjoy!
